Ilayathalapathy Vijay's ‘Jilla’ audio release

Ilayathalapathy Vijay silently launched his Jilla audio at a city hotel without any fanfare or posters. Select media was called and everything was done in a hush-hush manner.

The event was marketed as ‘Vijay helping producers who had launched him early in his career’. So the producers of ‘Vasantha Vaasal’ M Rajaram, ‘Rajavin Parvayile’ Soundarapandian, Balaji Prabhu, son of late producer M Baskar, who produced Vishnu, Shantha, wife of late KRG, the producer of Minsara Kanna and ‘Once More’ CV Rajendran were invited and presented with a cheque of Rs 5 lakhs each
Vijay who has not been attending public functions after Thalaivaa issue kept a low profile. Vijay spoke at the meet and said : “ You might wonder why now and not for so long. Actually I told Selvakumar my manager to hold it in my office, but he insisted that I do it in a public forum. I think doing a good thing can be done anywhere and anytime.”
And strategically Jilla team of producer RB Chowdary, director Neason, music director D Imman appeared on stage to release the audio of Jilla. The audio as announced earlier will hit the stores on Saturday December 21.
However, the surprise of the evening was the Jilla team, including producer RB Choudary, director Neason and composer Imman, along with the hero of the evening, Vijay, also launched the music of their movie amidst the presence of the other producer
