Vijay Sethupathi, Gayathrie team up again

Looks like Vijay Sethupathi and Gayathrie are all set to become the latest happenin’ jodi in K-Town. The two actors have teamed up for the third time for debutant Ranjith’s Mellisai, for which they are presently shooting.

Confirming the news, Vijay Sethupathi says, “Yes, Gayathrie is part of Mellisai. She will be playing the lead opposite me.” We hear the team is scouting for another actress to play an important role.
Vijay and Gayathrie’s chemistry and the light-hearted romantic sequences in Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom was well received by the audience. The two are also part of the dark romantic thriller Rummy, which also stars Inigo Prabhakaran and Ishwarya.
