Director Nesan, who, along with his team, has been working at an exhausting pace, to ensure the film releases on time, said, “We have been working on the film at a hectic pace. We are now working on a couple of trailers. Both will be out by tonight.”
Until now, the team has only released the film’s teasers. Even they have received an overwhelming response with the film’s first teaser gathering an impressive 18 lakh hits and the second getting over six lakh hits on Youtube.
Jilla is Vijay’s sixth film with producer R B Choudhary’s Super Good Films. Incidentally, all his earlier films under this banner have been superhits.
Also, for the first time ever, Producer R B Choudhary is initiating his sons Suresh, Jeevan, actors Ramesh and Jiiva into production with this film. This means the title card of Jilla will have the names of actors Jiiva, Ramesh and their brothers as the producers of the film.
Choudhary said, “I am on my way to retirement and therefore I thought that I should give them this responsibility. The film has a running time of around 2 hours and 45 minutes and I have no doubt about its success.”
