Katrina Kaif 2 Movies (Bang Bang and Untitled) Race Will Win The Race

A catch 22 situation has risen for Katrina. If sources are to be believed then both her movies, Bang Bang with Hrithik Roshan and Phantom with Saif Ali Khan have been slotted for a Gandhi Jayanti release on 2 October (2014).

While Bang Bang was already slotted for a holiday release, it is now believed that producer Sajid Nadiadwala is keen on releasing Phantom on the same date as well.

The clamour to release a film on a holiday is not unknown in Bollywood. There is no denying that a movie, good or bad, will immensely benefit if its released on a holiday. Thankfully, Katrina would be seen playing diametrically opposite roles in both these movies.

Bang Bang, the shooting of which was halted due to Hrithik's ill-health, is all set to resume in the coming days. "But given the amount of work that needs to be completed for this movie, it looks unlikely that the movie will be ready for release on the earlier decided date of 2 October," says a source.
